Our Local Governing Bodies

Academies within GNET each have their own local governing bodies who support the work of the trust through their responsibility for scrutiny and improvement and their continued efforts to ensure that schools deliver the highest standards.

Our local governing bodies are made up of representative members of the school community chosen for their various skills and experience.

As school governors they provide strategic leadership and accountability for their schools, working closely with the Headteacher to agree strategic direction and make decisions about balancing resources.
